Travel Klamath has an active Board of Directors whose purpose is to govern, set policy for, and oversee the operations of Travel Klamath. Any person sharing the mission of Travel Klamath is eligible to serve on the board of directors.

Travel Klamath's mission is to continually develop, promote, and sustain a healthy visitor industry within Klamath County, Oregon and the greater Klamath Basin

Vicki has lived in Klamath Falls for 6 1/2 years and been actively involved in the community for 4 years. She is married and has 3 daughters and 1 granddaughter.

She founded Women in Business Networking, Inc. in May of 2005 and is a business consultant for the Small Business Development Center at OIT. She mentors women in the community, providing support to those wanting to start a business. She also coordinates and organizes events with WIB Networking.

Vicki has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce for 4 years and has been one of their Ambassador's for the past year. She co-chaired the Ambassadors from Nov. 2006 - May of 2007. She served on the Snowflake Festival Committee since Sept. of 2006 and will the the Co-Chair in 2008. She is also a member of the Military Affairs Committee and DUII/Task Force.

In addition to all her civic activities, she enjoys golf, travel, gardening and the outdoors.

Kelly has been in the Klamath Basin for over 20 years and takes great pride in helping to promote our great Basin. She has extensive knowledge of our community and its history, and as owner/designer with Z Designs, her extensive marketing and coordination of local community events make her a great asset to Travel Klamath.

Kelly attended the University of Oregon. She worked as editor and designer for the Cascade Magazines for five years before becomming a designer for a local graphics firm. In 1996, she opened her own graphic design firm and advertising agency, Z Designs & Production, Inc.

Kelly has been involved with the Klamath County Fair, Klamath Bull & Horse Sale, Horse Packing & Wilderness Skills Clinic, Jefferson State Stampede Rodeo Queen Committee, and the Snowflake Festival. She had been President and Vice President of the Klamath Basin Horse Association, and Vice President of Southeastern Oregon Paint Horse Club.

Scott was born and raised in Delta, UT. He graduated from Delta High School in 1970. While attending high school, Scott was actively involved in football, wrestling, and FFA. He won a state championship in wrestling in 1970 and was also frist team Allstate defensive tackle in football. He was also a chapter officer for three years in FFA. Following high school, he attended Southern Utah State College, graduating in 1974 with a BS in Industrial Education and a 4 year degree in Metals Manufacturing. He graduated with a MS in Education from Oregon State University in 1979.

Scott moved to Klamath Falls in 1974 and started teaching and coaching at Mazama High School. He coached a total of 50 seasons (8 softball, 10 football and 32 wrestling) while at Mazama High School. He has been an Advisor for the SkillsUSA student leadership organization for 30 years at Mazama. In 2006 he was elected Oregon SkillUSA Advisor of the Year.

Scott is involved in many various organizations including his local church, Amateur Radio and Boy Scouts of America, and the Chamber of Commerce.

Scott and his wife Bonnie started their own business Sco-Bo's Country Treasures in 1980. It has continued to grow immensely. They also now own their second business, Keeper's Corner LLC., a current partner with Travel Klamath. Keeper's Corner advertises in all types of tourism magazines, papers, and on the internet. He is very dedicated to encouraging tourism in the Klamath Basin.

Linda Tepper has worked for the Klamath Falls Airport for over twelve years focusing on providing access to the Klamath Basin for both the leisure and business traveler.

Linda's organizational skills were demonstrated when she single-handedly organized a conference in Klamath Falls for Airport Directors from the entire State. These skills combined with her enthusiasum, good work ethic, and interest in serving the community will be important as the board of directors guide Travel Klamath into the future.

In addition to her work at the Airport, Linda is involved with Junior Achievement and the Kruise of Klamath.

Taylor David has been involved with Travel Klamath since its inception. Her dedication to tourism and communication efforts to Klamath County are an extension of her devotion to her family and tribe. They often travel to powwow's and support nieces and nephews who play sports. As a Board Member, she is excited to see the growth of Travel Klamath and the expansion of the communication efforts. She is a lifetime resident of Klamath County.

Taylor is the Klamath Tribes Public Information/News Department Manager. She has worked for the Klamath Tribes since 1992, and over the past 15+ years, has diligently worked to establish better public relations and tourism communications for the Tribe, their membership, and community. Prior to working for the tribe, she worked for the Winema Fremont National Forest.

A graduate of Chiloquin High School, Taylor attended Haskell University in Lawrence, Kansas before transferring to Lane Community College. She feels her strengths are in communications, public relations, photography and theatre. Hobbies include meeting new people, making friends, and anything exciting and fun.

Since 1991, he has been a part-owner in Ernst Brothers, LLC, dba Mollies Truck Stop in Klamath Falls and The Hangar Restaurant & Lounge in Redmond, OR. Prior to that he worked for Gilchrist Timber Company, Crescent Oil Company, Klamath Northern Railway, and First National Bank of Oregon.

In addition to Gil's board membership with Travel Klamath, he is also Chairman for Klamath-Lake Regional Investment Board.

Ann has been the Marketing Director of South Valley Bank & Trust for six years. For the last three years, she worked to complete a comprehensive brand audit and to promote the rebranding of the bank. When possible she loves to validate to visitors that Klamath Falls is a great place to vacation or live permanently.

She is a member of the bank Leadership Council Team which works collectively to support all departments of the day to day operations and to strategize globally from the 10,000 foot view. She began with South Valley as a Customer Service Representative in 1988 and served as Customer Service Manager for 4 years.

Ann has received several awards for supporting superior service standards.

Ann serves on the board of Life Community Church, is involved with the Ross Raglan Theater, United Way Loaned Executive Program, High School Booster Club, Young Pro Youth Program, and is a program trainer and volunteer for CASA.

Diana has lived in Klamath Falls for many years. She is the Executive Director for Klamath Housing Authority, an non-profit agency that provides housing opportunities for low income families in Klamath and Lake County. Prior to this position, she worked as Program Manager for SoCo Development, as a Customer Service Rep for South Valley Bank & Trust, as as Interim Director, Associate Executive Director and Youth Services Director at the Klamath County YMCA.

Diana graduated from California Coast University in Santa Ana, California with a BS in Business Management and is working on her MS at OIT in Industrial Management/Accounting.

Diana is active in the community in Kiwanis and has served on its Board of Directors. She has previous board experience with KLCAS Advisory Board and Headstart.

Although she admits to having no tourism experience, that perspective is also important to having a well rounded board of directors. Diana's experience with a large public organization and multi-million dollar budget will be very helpful for Travel Klamath as well.

Richard Bailey is a professor at OIT teaching accounting for the past 16 years. He is also a CPA. He is very active on the OIT campus serving in a multitude of ways including being a consultant with the Small Business Development Center.

Richard serves on the board for Unlimited Pheasants as well as many committees including the Financial Committee for Travel Klamath.

Don is retired with 42 years in the construction industry. He and his wife have lived in Klamath Falls for 68 years. Don serves on the Fair Board, Kruise of Klamath, Parks and Recreation, Kiger Association, South Suburban and City Little Leagues, Babe Ruth Association, Klamath Basin Snowdrifters Association, and several school committees.

He looks forward to working with Travel Klamath to further promote tourism in Klamath Country.

Ilene graduated from Eastern College in Montana where she studied marketing. Ilene has lived in Klamath Falls for 19 years managing the Super 8 Motel.

She served on the Klamath County Tourism Board for 8 years, was an original board member of a Jeld-Wen mentoring program called Women to Women, and has also been a member of the Chamber of Commerce for 19 years.

Travel Klamath is very pleased to have Ilene on the board as her knowledge of and interaction with the hotel/motel industry is invaluable for marketing and promoting Klamath Country.

Born in Klamath Falls, John is a graduate of Henley High School and Southern Oregon University, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. John received his college education courtesy of US National Bank's work/college scholarship program.

Following graduation, John spent the next 7 1/2 years in Adelaide, Australia, where he worked for a computer company and served as an Administrative Officer for the City of Tea Tree Gully. Upon returning to the United States, John served as Finance Director for Klamath County and the City of Klamath Falls. John moved to Bend, where he was employed in retail sales and as a loan officer for a Bend credit union.

Returning to Klamath Falls in 1994, John became active in local government, serving as a member and Chairman of the County's Library Board and later as Chairman of the Budget Committee for 4 years. He was appointed in January, 2001, to fill out the term of a commissioner who was elected to the State Legislature.

John's liaison responsibilities oversee the areas of Public and Mental Health, District Attorney, Fairgrounds, Animal Control, Tax/Treasurer, Finance and Justice Court.

Bud Hart has served 19 years on the Klamath Falls City Council, including numerous subcommittees. He received the Chamber of Commerce Service Award in 2002. He has been married to his wife, Debby, for 45 years and their 4 children are all graduates of Klamath Union High School.

Bud serves on the League of Oregon Cities Board of Directors, and his past service includes League Committee participation on LOC Community Development, and LOC Energy Advisory Committee, LCDC Elected Official Advisory Committee, and the OEDD Community Development Advisory Committee. He is also Congressman Walden's Academy Selection Board Member.

Bud was a Professor of Mathematics at Oregon Institute of Technology for 34 years, served as the Mathematics Department Chair for 7 years, and received Professor Emeritus in 1999. He is an advanced placement Calculus Consultant and has conducted Calculus workshops for High School Teachers.

Having served in the Navy and Naval Reserve, Bud was a Submarine Officer, selected for Command of 5 separate Naval Reserve units in Klamath Falls, Eugene and Portland, and was Naval Academy Information Officer for Southern Oregon.

His hobbies include spending time with his 6 grandchildren, racquetball and swimming.
