Daily - KLAMATH ART GALLERY ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP EXHIBIT & SALE will start with an opening reception on Sunday, May 4, from 12-4 PM.  The gallery is located at 120 Riverside Drive, just past the Favell Museum, and is open from 12-4 PM Thursday through Monday.  Admission is free.  For more information, call 541.883.1833.

Daily - SMART VOLUNTEERS needed for Start Making A Reader Today Program.  SMART pairs children with volunteers for a one on one weekly reading time; reaching children at a crucial stage of development, and improving their chances for academic success by establishing reading skills before 3rd grade.  Join others in helping the little graders with their reading skills.  Two books per month will be provided to each student to keep.   For more info call Christy at 541.273.2424.

Daily - PAINTINGS AND PHOTOGRAPHY DISPLAY at Antonio's Cucina Italiana Restaurant, 1012 Main Street.  Paintings by Glenda Lehrman, Paula Walborn, Ruth Hollis, and Joyce Miles and photography by Jack Noller are now on display from 11 AM to 10 PM seven days a week.

Weekends - RANGER GUIDED SNOWSHOE WALKS are offered every Saturday and Sunday at 1 PM at Crater Lake National park.  No previous snow shoeing experience is needed and there is no cost for the tour and no cost to enter the park in the winter months.  They will be offered every weekend through April of 2008.  For more information, call 541.594.3100.

Mon-Fri - TRIBAL HEADQUARTERS BASKETRY EXHIBIT displays baskets, artifacts, and historical memorabilia of the Klamath and Modoc tribes.  Hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday and admission is free.  The Tribal Headquarters are located 22 miles north of Klamath Falls on Hwy. 97.  For more information, call 541.783.2219.
